Xiaomi Delivers Blood Pressure Monitor Device

Xiaomi will launch its first ever healthcare product, a smart blood pressure monitor device.

The company promises the blood pressure monitor will be easy to use and meets all the necessary professional medical standards and certifications. The app, customized for Xiaomi, tracks blood pressure, heart rate, average pulse and more on a real-time chart, then make recommendations for improvement.

All you need to do is to hook up your handset to a special dock, before connecting it to the blood pressure monitor, letting you check out your vital statistics to your handset. Xiaomi intends to deliver the iHealth monitor in China for 199 yuan($32).

The iHealth blood pressure monitor that will play nice with an iOS- or Android-powered device will be more expensive, at approximately $100.
