TouchPal Will Launch Its iOS Keyboard in App Store on Sept.17

San Francisco — TouchPal, a world leading keyboard app with over 200 million Android users, announced that they have successfully submitted the application to Apple’s App Store after three months of beta testing. TouchPal for iOS is expected to be available in the App Store on September 17, the very first day when iOS 8 is available to the public.

Although multiple players revealed the plans to develop keyboard apps for iOS 8, TouchPal was the first third-party keyboard running on iOS 8 with a live demo. Since early June, TouchPal received thousands of beta test requests from its Twitter (@touchpal). The early version was reported by dozens of media, but the official version will be far more powerful: more colorful themes, more emojis and more languages. It will also be more stabilized when it hits the App Store later this month, thanks to the beta testers.

TouchPal is the winner of the 2009 GSMA Global Innovation Award and a Top 6 Finalist of TechCrunch Disrupt. As the inventor of mistyping correction, mixed language input, adaptive learning and sentence-based gesture input, TouchPal has over 50 patents issued or pending. (PR Newswire)
