Sony Unveils Two New Phablets

Sony has taken the wraps off two new Android phablets – the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra and Xperia E1.

The Xperia T2 Ultra comes with 6-inch displays with 720p HD resolution. It also comes with a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB through microSD.

It will also sports a 13-megapixel rear facing camera and a 1.1 megapixel front facing camera, and a 3000mAh battery.

The Xperia T2 Ultra will come in two variants – a single SIM model and a dual model that will support dual SIMs. Both phones will remain identical in terms of specs.

As for the Xperia E1, the phone’s design is for the music lover in mind. The device’s hardware specs include: a 4-inch 800×480 display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 512MB of RAM. It will come with 100dB speakers built into it, ClearAudio+ mode and xLOUD software which will deliver crystal clear audio.

Pricing and availability have not yet been mentioned, but perhaps Sony will be sharing additional details at MWC 2014.
