Almost everyone in this age owns few gadgets that best suit our needs, lifestyle and career. Though it is undeniable that technology has shaped how fast information can travel or how we can produce so much with so little time, tech-savvy people can attest that productivity and creativity comes also with the inconvenience of lugging around multiple gadgets. With the constant development of technology, corporations seek to quench the market’s thirst for the ultimate all-in-one innovation.

Leading global manufacturer of audio, video, communications and information technology products Sony takes a step further with their premium line of VAIO products for this year. Last November 27, Marketing Officer for VAIO Jhoana Benedicto and the Marketing Head of Sony Philippines Kenji Hayashi introduced the best of Sony technology yet: the VAIO Fit 13A/15A, a multi-flip laptop capable of flipping and converting between laptop, tablet and viewer modes, and the VAIO Tap 11, being less than a centimeter thick, it is undoubtedly the world’s thinnest detachable tablet PC. Don’t let the thinness of the product fool you though, this is Sony’s first Windows full-featured tablet that runs on Windows 8.

The VAIO 13A is tastefully constructed with an aluminum hairline finish. Aside from it’s capability of flipping and converting between laptop, tablet and viewer modes by flipping the display over the hinge, it incorporates the best of Sony’s digital imaging expertise. Hayashi demonstrated how each mode accommodates productivity regardless of what mode you choose. Work, leisure and experience all in one product that is surely to be enjoyed among professionals, students and everyday PC users alike. Part of the newest features is the Exmor RS for PC, an imaging sensor that makes it capable of character recognition whenever you take high-resolution images of text documents. The VAIO Tap 11 is a tablet, PC and notebook all in one. Its OptiContrast Panel, the unit’s digitizer stylus ensures detailed drawings and small print, making the experience feel of writing on paper.
