SmartMat: An Interactive Yoga Mat

The SmartMat is a yoga mat that detects and adjusts your yoga practice, enabling you to uncover your individual “Perfect pose”. It will also be able to offer the user a real time feedback as well as personalized instructions with their mobile device/tablet via Bluetooth.

The yoga mat has a built-in responsive sensors embedded into the mat and will be able to guide users through audio and visual cues.

The SmartMat is built around the same thickness to existing yoga mats, which means that rolling it up and taking it with you while you travel is still a possibility. There will also be a SmartMat Marketplace in which users will be able to access and download different yoga classes/guides that they wish to follow.

The SmartMat is currently an Indiegogo project that has managed to past its funding goal of $110,000 in 24 hours.
