myBlee has announced the launch of a new iPad app called myBlee Math. Its the first of its kind, allowing children to pursue their own interests and learn at their own pace. myBlee Math’s innovations result from two years of research and development by a team of experienced teachers, which covers all grade level standards in the Common Core for K-6.

Founder and CEO of myBlee, Laetitia Grail, describes the app as “a compelling long-term learning solution” which is empowering and intellectually stimulating to parents, teachers and kids. Grail, a former math teacher, created this to enable kids to do more than just poke numbers on a screen.

Children are guided by an amusing teddy bear throughout the app, ensuring that they’re never get bored while learning something new everyday. There is also a quirky British tutor character that acts as a teacher. Apart from these characters, the app also includes puzzles, badges, trophies, a personalized curriculum based on the child’s grade, level and learning needs as well as an in-app dashboard for parents to follow their child’s progress.

myBlee Math offers learning on more than 1,000 math topics that are organized into 12 categories: counting and place values, comparing numbers, fractions, decimal numbers, geometry, logic, math word problems, customary and metric length(volume& mass), mental math, number lines and graphs, and operations (+ – × ÷).

As children master each topic, the levels become progressively more difficult to ensure a fun and challenging improvement to their mathematical abilities.

“myBlee Math is where kids, parents and teachers come for real learning. The iTunes store is full of educational games for kids to practice what they already know, but parents, teachers, and kids are demanding more. With myBlee Math, all kids will love mathematics,” adds Grail.

myBlee Math is free for thirty minutes in the first week, and for ten minutes every week thereafter. Subscription to the full version costs $10.99 per month, there is also a one time fee for $10.99 for additional languages. There are no in-app purchases or ads that may potentially distract kids from the learning experience.
