Lenovo Launched Its First Multimode Yoga Tablet

Tablets are hot item this season and now Lenovo is trying to seize that trend with its new Yoga tablet line – the Yoga Tablet 8 and Yoga Tablet 10.

The Yoga Tablet offers 18 hours of battery life, Mediatek 8125 SoC with 1.2 quad-core Cortex A7 CPU and 1GB of RAM. The battery is place into the circular section, which allows Lenovo to use standard cylindrical batteries instead of custom flat ones. It runs on Android 4.2 with 16GB of storage expandable via its MicroSD card slot. There’s a 5MP rear camera, a 1.6 MP front camera and USB on-the-go which can charge other devices.

The tablets feature three modes – hold, tilt and stand. In Hold mode, there’s a round bulge along one edge to serve as a grip. The bulge also has a hidden kickstand that you pull out to make the tilt angle higher – Tilt mode. Finally, the Stand mode allows you to put the tablet siting on a flat surface in portrait mode.

The Yoga Tablets’ price are P14, 999 and P16, 999, for the 8-in and 10-in respectively.
