Google Unveils The Nexus 9 Tablet

Google and Taiwanese manufacturer HTC have teamed up to give us the Nexus 9 tablet, the first tablet which will come preinstalled with Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Nexus 9 has an 8.9-inch 2,048×1,536 pixel resolution display with a 4:3 screen ratio. Under the hood, there’s a 64-bit processor on NVIDIA’s Tegra K1 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM. The company claims Nexus 9 is able to provide up to nine hours of battery life. It will be available in either Wi-Fi only or a 32GB LTE model.

Google’s new Nexus 9 tablet is now available to pre-order from HTC, Amazon,and Best Buy, with orders scheduled to ship out for its release on November 3rd. Available in black and white colors the tablet will cost $399 and $479 for 16GB and 32GB models respectively. The LTE model with 32GB storage costs $599.

Google has also unveiled a keyboard which can be magnetically attached to the Nexus 9. The keyboard is capable of folding in two different angles and allow the user to type away on the tablet like they would on a laptop.
