Warrant Out for 3 Highway Patrol Cops

The Regional Trial Court Branch 26 of Argao town has issued warrants of arrest against former officials of the Regional Highway Patrol Group Unit -7 involved in the killing of lawyer Noel Archival and companions last February 18, 2014.

In his order issued on December 11, Judge Maximo Perez commanded all law enforcers through the chief of the Philippine National Police in Camp Crame, Quezon City to arrest Senior Superintendent Romualdo Iglesia, Senior Inspector Joselito Lerion and PO1 Alex Bacani.

The three officers are reportedly in Camp Crame.

Acting Cebu Provincial Prosecutor Jesus Rodrigo Tagaan filed multiple murder and frustrated murder before the court after finding probable cause.

Attorney Archival, along with his companions Alejandro Jayme and Candido Miñoza were killed in an ambush last February while passing Barangay Corro, Dalaguete town.
