Talisay Buy-Bust Yields P200k Drugs, 2 Dead

A buy-bust operation took a bloody turn after targets of the operation fought with operatives on Sunday in Brgy. San Isidro Talisay City, March 17, 2019.

Talisay City Police conducting the buy-bust operation in the area met with a mess after suspects resisted arrest.

Around past midnight, a undercover police tried to transact with the target of the operation, Jesson Aniñon but realized it was an operation and tried to flee.

Aniñon with his alleged cohort Aldrich Deiparine fired at the police officers prompting the officers to fire back.

Both Aniñon and Deiparine suffered gunshot wounds that caused their deaths.

Recovered from the scene were 31.48 grams or P214,064 worth of suspected shabu and two .38 caliber pistols. (ASC)
