Man Arrested in Buy-Bust Operation in Compostela

A 20 year old suspected drug peddler was arrested in a buy bust operation on March 15, 2019 in Sitio Proper, Brgy. Bagalinga, Compostela in the province of Cebu.

Compostela Municipal Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the buy-bust operation and arrested the suspect after transacting with the undercover police.

The police identified the suspect as Arnel Florez, 20, and a resident of lower Agnawi, Brgy. Guba, Cebu City.

Florez was arrested with 4 medium packs and 3 large packs of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride locally known as shabu and P500 buy-bust money.

The contraband weighed 12.1 grams with a estimated market value of P82,280.

Florez will face charges in violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (ASC)
