SM Seaside City Cebu Brings ‘The Cube’ into the Limelight

SM Seaside City Cebu recently unveiled The Cube, an iconic landmark which serves as the centrepiece of the world-class mall, at the South Road Properties (SRP) and Mambaling exit in Cebu City. This is the newest attraction in Cebu City.

The 21×21-meter sculptural piece made of metal epitomizes the strength and stability of Cebuanos. It is a tribute to the resilience of the Cebuanos in particular and the Filipinos in general.

According to the Development Corp. president Jeffrey Lim, an anagram for Cube is Cebu.

Also, viewed from any angle and perspective, structure consistently appears the same – a reflection of the philosophy of the SM group in terms of quality and service, and to bring its customers the same high level of quality service in all areas it operates.

The Cube is set to open to the public from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

The 30-hectare SM Seaside City, in circular-shaped, will be the fourth largest mall in the Philippines, which will have over 800 food and retail shops, local and international brands, 4-theater cinema, 2 theater Director’s Club, an 16-lane SM Bowling and amusement center, a food court, an ice skating rink, and a roof garden.

Aside from The Cube, a 150-meter viewing tower will be another attraction, offering sensational panoramic views of the seaside and the entire city of Cebu.

The four-level, world-class mall will open on October 15, 2015. It is the first of its kind retail mall at the SRP that will cater more activities for Cebuanos.
