Sinulog Foundation to Receive P1.5 Million Aid from Cebu Province

The Sinulog Foundation Inc. (SFI) may now receive its P1.5 million grant after it passes re-accreditation from the Cebu Provincial Government.

The Cebu Provincial Board on Monday approved the application for re-accreditation of the Sinulog foundation as a civil society group.

The accreditation of the SFI was deferred during the last week’s session because majority of the board of trustees (BOT) were not present before the provincial board, a requirement needed to comply the re-accreditation.

The Cebu Provincial Government has donated P500,000 to SFI last year and will give P1 million this year for the Sinulog Mardi Gras.
