Record: Billion People Use Facebook in a Single Day

Moscow (PNA/Sputnik) — A new record has been set in the number of people using Facebook in one day, the social network’s co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced.

Facebook’s CEO stressed that the milestone is highly important and marks the beginning of a path toward connecting the entire world.

Zuckerberg launched Facebook together with his Harvard University roommates in 2004. In 2007, he became a billionaire as a result of the success of Facebook. Zuckerberg was 23 at that time.
