Qube Gallery Presents Trust Me I’m Crazy

Qube Gallery presents A World- at – Large Series Exhibition: TRUST ME – I’M CRAZY by German digital artist and Quiz Taxi TV star, Thomas Von Klettenberg this July 17, 2014 at 6pm.

Thomas von Klettenberg is actually better known as Thomas Hackenberg the television presenter, comedian and actor.

When he is not on television his artistic alter ego, Thomas von Klettenberg creates digital art using the I phone and Ipad drawing applications. Von Klettenberg works can be described as – “ painting over, giving new structure and highlight to a chosen images that he uses. He can choose the right kind of colour at a stroke and can react to subtle changes in light and reality directly, cloudily washing over as well as pixelizing”.

Von Klettenberg visits Cebu each year and is fascinated by the dynamism and the vitality of the city. His fascination is reflected in his numerous works which he calls “head explosions”. This year’s visit is made more memorable because Trust Me I’m Crazy is his first exhibit in Cebu.

So if you have not celebrated Germany’s recent win at the World Cup, then why not celebrate it with some eccentric pop art on the launch this July 17, 2014 at 6pm Qube Gallery.
