Folk City: The Album Launch Series

Ayala Center Cebu in coordination with 22 Tango Records proudly brings to you Folk City: The Album Launch Series every 8pm Wednesday this month of July at the Level 4 Garden Area Ayala Center Cebu.

On July 9, 16, 23 and 30, singer songwriters such as Cattski Espina, Ella Melendez, Martina San Diego, Mary Anchit and Jessica McYorker will perform live with bands Wonggoy, Womb, Luxxx and Snubear.

22 Tango Records co-founders Cattski Espina and Anne Muntuerto have been working closely with the the Folk City artists for months now, each of them adding an even more personal depth behind the album.

“Every song tells a story, every artist in a class of their own. Extremely proud to have an amazing group of artists all in one album,” Muntuerto said.

“Folk City provides a platform for the release of a finished work – a single – for those artists who are just starting with their album efforts. One single from those new artists – just to have a taste of what’s to come. And it also gives our other artists who have already released albums another opportunity to release another track from their respective albums that deserves another round of exposure,” Espina added.
