Joy

Where does joy come from?

“But may all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; may those who long for Your saving help always say, “The Lord is great!” Psalm 40:16

“I know the Lord is with me… No wonder my heart is filled with joy.” Psalm 16:8-9

The Lord is the source of joy. The more you know Him, walk with Him and obey Him, the greater your joy will be. Even times of discipline (after committing the mishaps), you can consider it joy because you know that God is there and loves you enough to correct you.

“…for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” Nehemiah 8:10
