“City Hall at Your Doorstep” Set in 2 Villages This Week

At least 2 barangays will benefit from the free services of the Cebu City Government through the ‘City Hall at Your Doorstep’ program of Mayor Michael Rama this week.

On December 3 Thursday, the activity will be held in the Barangay Mambaling Sports Complex and on December 4 Friday it will be conducted in the Barangay Poblacion Pardo Sports Complex.

Among the services to be offered are medical and dental consultation with free medicines, random blood sugar testing, blood typing, seedling distribution, anti-rabies vaccination, feeding for children, and consultation on the birth, marriage and death certificates.

Other services that will be offered are repair and installation of street lights and artesian wells, consultation on traffic issues and concerns, consultations on the ‘Let there be light program’ and urban poor related issues, free hair cutting, pruning and trimming of trees, consultation on drug related issues, legal services, and Cedula issuance, among several others.

The mayor aims to bring the services of the 22 departments comprising the city government closer to the people and avail it for free sans going to the Cebu City Hall.

Furthermore, the city’s community outreach program has become institutionalized and regularly conducted every Friday. It will kick off with a Holy Mass at 8 o’clock in the morning and will end until everyone will be served. (Cebu City Public Information Office PIO/Greggy Jiggs P. Senados)
