In line with the Policy Agenda of newly elected President Rodrigo R. Duterte on the need to strengthen the partnership between the business sector and the labor sector, and ensuring compliance of both sectors with the labor standards, rules and regulations of the Philippines, the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) will conduct a “Labor Relations Forum” on August 19, 2016, from 1:00 – 5:00 pm at the Golden Prince Hotel & Suites.

The forum aims to provide the participants the knowledge on the existing labor standards, rules and regulations of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and its latest department orders and/or issuances; discuss the current issue on contractualization which is embodied in the DOLE Order No. 18-A: Rules Implementing Articles 106 to 109; and come up with a position relevant to the CCCI concerns.

There will also be sharing of issues and concerns on Human Relations (HR), and on coordination and collaboration with the National Government Agencies (NGAs) and Local Government Units (LGUs).

Registration fee is free for CCCI member’s one representative. However, Php 300.00 will be charged for an additional representative and this also applies to non-CCCI members who are interested to join the forum.
