Calyx Centre Lights Up Christmas Tree

In a time when the whole country moves together in solidarity in helping the catastrophe-stricken fellow countrymen, Innoland’s Calyx Centre in I.T Park does its share by kicking off the Christmas season through a Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony last November 14.

Innoland’s Retail Operations and Marketing Manager Bruze Cortes Bollozos gave a heart-warming message that touches each and everyone in this challenging, yet hope-filled season.

The Christmas Tree lighting was commenced by the Innogroup’s executive committee members namely VP Sales & Mktg. Wilson Granados, VP Finance Marilou Ong, CEO Joy Anthony “Jojo” Ong and VP Sales & Mktg. Internal Crystal Chloe Ong.

One-of-a-kind and attractive of its design, the tree is made up of recycled materials like empty water and oil bottles. This, keeping true to its cause to be a ‘green’ company spearheading projects that are non-hazardous to the environment. Calyx Centre’s structural design is constructed in a such a way that depicts friendliness to the environment and uphold to be a ‘green’ architecture.

The Christmas Tree adorns with glittery red and gold colors, a resemblance of the colors of Christmas, accentuated with red and green ornaments made out of the plastic bottles. Truly a creative masterpiece. The tree was designed by local florist and interior decorator Jay Enriquez.

Cebuana model and Aliwan Queen Jaime Herel led the dance to the tune of Christmas sounds, playing fairy, and lead the turning on of the Christmas tree lights.

Sumptuous specialties from Innoland’s retail stores at the Calyx Centre Sunburst, Hikay, Serenitea and Dong Juan were served for the media guests. Raffles and giveaways were also given courtesy of the retail stores of Calyx Centre.

Aliwan Festival Queen, Jamie Herrel grace the lighting of the tree
