#BangonCebu Concert Raises Donations for Typhoon Victims

As part of the #BangonSugBohol movement which was launched as a response to send aid the victims of the 7.2 magnitude earthquake which hit Cebu and Bohol last month, Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) together with its reliefs partners staged the “#BangonCebu We Will Rise Again Concert Part III” last November 15, The Terraces, Ayala Center, this time for the typhoon Yolanda survivors.

The Chamber is celebrating its centennial + 10 anniversary this month and decided to postpone its celebration to give way for the relief operations of the Yolanda victims. Ayala Center Cebu likewise is celebrating its 25th year anniversary and paved the way for the cause too.

300 artists mostly Cebuanos performed during the concert and entertained the audience, spectators in the vicinity. A total amount of more than P1M of cash and in-kind donations were raised in the said concert.

#BangonCebu relief operations is currently ongoing at the Sacred Heart Gym-Warehouse, repacking mostly the relief goods donated by foreign aids. This, in partnership with the Cebu Provincial Government.
