Samsung Announces Slimmest Galaxy A7 Smartphone

Samsung has announced its slimmest smartphone to date – the Galaxy A7.

The 6.3mm thick metal unibody device sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen, a 1.8GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card, a 5-MP front and 13-MP rear camera.

Other specs include a 2600mAh battery, LTE support and Android 4.4 KitKat.

The device will also be available as a dual-SIM variant, but with a slightly slower, 1.5GHz quad-core main processor.

The Galaxy A7 will be available in three colors — Pearl White, Midnight Black, and Champagne Gold — in select markets. There’s no word on launch dates or pricing as of this moment.
