Samsung Unveils Galaxy Note 4
Samsung launched its much-hyped Galaxy Note 4 smartphone, along with plenty of other gadgets, on Wednesday at the IFA 2014 tech conference in Berlin.
The 5.7-inch Galaxy Note 4 is the first Quad HD smartphone from Samsung, which means its display has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 — the highest you can get in smartphones today. It also has the trademark stylus from the Note line, the S Pen.
The Galaxy Note 4 is also one of the first smartphones to include optical image stabilization (OIS) for its 16-MP rear-facing camera.
The smartphone has many features acquired in the Galaxy S5, including a fingerprint sensor built into the home button, a heart-rate monitor in the back that ties to the preloaded S Health app, multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) downloading of files for combining the LTE and Wi-Fi connections, and ultra power-saving mode, where you can coax 24 hours of limited use from just 10% battery power.

The Galaxy Note 4 will feature an octa-core Exynos 5433 chipset, 3GB of RAM and an internal storage of 32/64GB expandable via mirco SD card. The device will run on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat.
Samsung says the Note 4 will be available starting in October and will come in four color options: white, black, gold and pink. No price has been set yet.
