New Leak Shows iPhone 16 Prototype Renders
Time and again, it’s been proven that keeping up with technology is a hard thing as just under two months into the release of the iPhone 15 lineup in the country, we already have leaks for the iPhone 16.
In an article by MacRumors, fans are treated to a sneak peek at the potential design of the iPhone 16, internally dubbed the “DeLorean.” While the iPhone 15 introduced a curved frame and frosted glass back, the iPhone 16 seems poised to build upon these changes with subtle yet impactful modifications
Early pre-production designs reveal a range of hardware configurations, showcasing Apple’s experimentation with button layouts and camera arrangements. Notably, the Action Button takes center stage, potentially phasing out the mute switch across the iPhone 16 lineup. The camera setup adopts a distinct vertical alignment, adding a recognizable touch to the latest model.
Another distinctive feature that the supposed leaks have is that one of the designs features the vertical pill-shaped camera layout which was last seen in the iPhone XS lineup.
Apple’s meticulous design process is evident in the consideration of various button designs, including a unified volume button and the introduction of a new capacitive Capture Button, internally known as Project Nova. This button promises a unique blend of force sensitivity and tact-switching functionality.
While the front design remains relatively unchanged, with the continuation of the Dynamic Island, the back reveals a potential shift in color options, with prototypes spotted in yellow, pink, and midnight hues.
It’s worth noting that the information from the MacRumors article reflects early designs, emphasizing that Apple’s final decisions are yet to be solidified. As the iPhone 16 is still a considerable distance from its release, the tantalizing prospect of additional changes keeps Apple enthusiasts on the edge of their seats. (GFB)
