Viva Entertainment Goes South

On your mark, aspiring Cebuano talents!

The Entertainment Company that has produced many on screen legends and prominent events in the country, Viva, has finally extended its spotlight all the way to the south.

Viva big boss Vic del Rosario has partnered with Tonyson Lee of 3Some Events and Production to form Viva Concerts and Events South, Inc., an expansion of the signature Viva Entertainment catering to the Visayas and Mindanao regions.

“We are not just here looking for talents, we are looking for creative minds as well,” Viva top honcho, Vic del Rosario said.

VIVA South confirmed they already have a line-up of Cebuano talents that will be hitting the screens and the airwaves in no time.

“Who knows, the next Anne Curtis might be from Cebu,” del Rosario said.

Viva Concerts and Events South Inc. is also a much-awaited step to bring world-class performances beyond Manila theaters and into the midst of Cebuano audiences.

del Rosario said Viva, together with 3Some Events and Production will be the forerunners of improvement to the entertainment industry in the south, singling out the lack of big venues to hold international concerts in the region.

He said they are working on a plan to build a venue that could hold a larger audience for the future events Viva South will be bringing to the Cebuanos.

In its first venture, Viva South brings the musical geniuses behind the Dancing Queen phenomenon, Abba, into Cebu’s center stage. The Abbamania Live in Cebu Concert will be rocking the house with their timeless music tonight April 20, 8pm at the Pacific Grand Ballroom of the Waterfront Hotel, Cebu City.
