With its well-written lyrics accompanied by a hauntingly lullaby-like melody, Paghunas written by Joseph Gara and performed by himself and Jayneil Enriquez won Vispop 4.0.

For this year, 360 entries were sifted. It was the highest number of entries so far. The other five songs that made it to the finals included John Cadeliña and Irving Guazon with their entry entitled “Damgo,” Kenneth Corvera with “Pep-pep,” Sherwin Fugoso and Marajane Monton with “Imoha Ra Akong Kasingkasing,” Marie Salvaleon with “Suwat ni Maria,” and Jerika Teodorico with “Baklay.”

The Board of Judges comprised of Palanca Awardee for Fiction Mr. Jan Yap, Handuraw Marketing Director Zara Smith and the Chairman of the Board of Judges Singer-Songwriter Mr. Rommel Suico.

A brainchild of ARTISTKO, it has come a long way from its initial stage at the University of the Philippines. VisPop is supported by the Filipino Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers and Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
