SYNOPSIS: At 3am today, a LPA (Low Pressure Area) was estimated on all available data at 850km East of Guiuan, Eastern Samar (10.1N, 133.4E). Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting the eastern section of Palawan & Mindanao. Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern and Central Luzon.

FORECAST:

Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms will be experienced over Eastern Visayas due to LPA and over Palawan due to ITCZ. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms is expected over Cebu and the rest of Visayas and Occidental Mindoro.

Light to moderate winds from the East will prevail and the coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
