What sets some of the Valentine’s Day celebrations this year is, it is filled with a heart-warming cause to help the community, and not just all about that romantic feeling shared with someone else. Such is the upcoming Valentine benefit concert slated this February 13, featuring artists Dingdong Avanzado, Jessa Zaragoza, Luke Mejares and Marissa Sanchez. Entitled as “Love & Songs”, proceeds of the show will go to the victims of the recent calamities–M7.2 earthquake and super typhoon Yolanda–which hit the country (central Philippines) late last year.

Present during the event’s press conference last February 6 at Quest Hotel was Dingdong who shared that the cause of the concert to help a lot of people inspired him to accept the invitation. “The beneficiaries will be the victims of the recent tragedies particularly in Cebu. In Cebu, there a lot of communities of the tragedies whose voices have not been heard,” Avanzado marked.
