Unto Us a Child Is Born

“A Child is born to us, a Son is given to us. The governor will rest on His shoulders. And He will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6

There is nothing as joyous as the birth of a baby. Family and friends wait nine long months to meet the new person. The little bundle of joy changes our lives forever from the first time we meet. He or she is so sweet, so full of potential. Jesus’ birth was all that and more. Not only friends and family, but all generations since the beginning of time had been waiting for the birth of this child. Even nature proclaimed His birth. The potential He held was the salvation of all mankind. He changes your life as soon as you meet Him, not only here on earth, but for eternity.

“I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. The Savior–yes, the Messiah, the Lord–has been born today in Bethlehem.” Luke 2:10-11

“God did not send His Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it.” John 3:17
