Trips Canceled as TD ‘Usman’ May Hit Northern Cebu

All trips going to Northern Cebu were canceled today, December 27, 2018 as Tropical Depression Usman may hit the northern parts Cebu tomorrow.

The Cebu Provincial government announced earlier that all trips going to Northern Cebu, Camotes Island and Bantayan Island will be canceled due to the impending bad weather.

According to the 11 a.m. weather bulletin today of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), TD Usman is slowing down and may make landfall in Eastern Visayas.

Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal #1 is raised over parts of Visayas specifically in Northern Cebu including Camotes islands, Eastern Samar, Northern Samar, Samar, Biliran, Leyte, Southern Leyte, Aklan, Capiz, Northern Iloilo and Northern Negros Occidental.

TD Usman will be the 21st typhoon to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) this year. (Aljun S. Cainghog)
