Toronto Raptors Crowned as 2019 NBA Champs

All of Canada rejoiced as the Toronto Raptors became this year’s NBA Champions after defeating the Golden State Warriors in Game 6 of the NBA finals.

Toronto Raptors won on the road, 114 to 110 against the depleted Golden State Warriors.

Warriors guard Klay Thompson scored 30 points before going down with an injury on the knee.

Stephen Curry was locked down and only scored 21 points with 6 out of 17 field goal shooting and 3 out of 11 beyond the arc.

Draymond Green scored 11 points, grabbed 15 boards and 13 dished assists but committed 8 turnovers during the game.

Meanwhile, Andre Iguadala scored 22 points and Demarcus Cousins scored 12.

Despite the Warriors depleted line up they manage to go head to head with the Toronto Raptors.

Pascal Siakam was big in Game 6, he scored 26 points, grabbed 10 rebounds while Kyle Lowry also scored 26 points and dished 10 assists.

Fred Vanvleet scored 22 points and Serge Ibaka scored 15 points off the bench to help the Toronto Raptors win game 6.

Finals MVP Kwahi Leonard despite scoring only 22 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists, his presence defensively was felt tallying 2 steals and 1 block.

This is the Raptors finals debut and the first NBA Championship of the franchise. (ASC)
