Top 3 Most Wanted Man in Talisay Killed in Gunfight with Cops
One of the most wanted criminals in Talisay City is dead after he fired at the police officers that tried to serve his arrest warrant at Sitio Mananga II, Barangay Tabunok, Talisay City on July 24, 2018.
Rodel Sanchez Halos aka “Rodel Patikan”, 33 years old, single with a live-in partner, and temporarily resides at Sitio Mananga II, Brgy Tabunok, Talisay City, was shot dead after he pulled his gun and shot at police officers who was serving his warrant of arrest.
Halos fired at SPO1 Allan Almohalias and PO2 Ryan Osngol when he noticed them prompting the police officers to retaliate resulting to his death.
According to police officers, neighbors say that Halos chose to die rather than to be captured.
Halos was wanted for murder and frustrated murder, he was also a reported gun for hire and a notorious hold-upper.
Items recovered from the suspect’s body were:
- 2 plastic packs of suspected shabu
- 1 glass tooter
- Pieces of rolled thin foil
- 1 caliber .38 revolver (smith and wesson) color black without serial number loaded with 4 live ammunitions and one empty shell inside the cylinder.
- 1 caliber .38 revolver (armscor 202) color silver with serial number 10712124 loaded with 4 live ammunitions inside the cylinder.
- 3 empty shells.
Halos was immediately brought to Talisay City District hospital but was declared dead on arrival. (Aljun Cainghog)
