Tips for Shopping at Commercial Centers

It’s really cool to find something valuable things that can be found in the malls at a fraction of the cost. Keep these tips in mind the next time you plan to get good buys from downtown!

1. It’s nice to explore the streets of Colon. All the amazing things you can find from the department store are at affordable prices. It’s fun to discover where your favorite online shop got their accessories from or where your usual parlor got their exceptional shampoo. But bear in mind that these areas are usually crowded, therefore be cautious when walking down especially on small pathways. Know where you first came in and how you can get out. Keep your eyes peeled for  thieves, pickpockets and sidewalk hawkers.

2. Keep a small pouch or a small sling bag and position the bag at your front. Keeping them hanging on your side or back can be very attractive for potential pickpocketers. Leave your expensive jewelry at home too.

3. If a price of an item is too good to be true, it probably is fake and is not therefore worthy of your buy. Always use your common sense. Never grab a bargain sold gold watch, diamond ring or anything from the sidewalk. You are likely to be gypped with a stolen good and could be later be charged on you for theft.

4. Never exchange your wrist watch, expensive pen or gold ring for “a found diamond ring”. Again, use your common sense. Never bargain or argue with strangers in the streets. Ignore these people who offer to do so and walk away.

5. If you’re unfamiliar with the area, be sure to go with a trusted friend. Never go with a stranger to get a bargain article. You may be led to a robbery or get cheated at the back street.
