Three Cebuanos top CPA exam

Three Cebuanos, all of whom are from the University of San Carlos (USC), made it to the top 10 of the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure examination.

Based on the results released by the Professional Regulatory Commission today, USC’s Mikyll Hum Dalimot Narvios is top 2 with his 95.43 percent rating. Wendell Kho Ang came fourth (93.71%), and Ariane Canon Fernando in the 10th spot with her 92.29% mark. Both Ang and Fernando are also USC graduates.

PRC said that 1,553 out of 5,665 passed the CPA Licensure Examination given last May 19, 20, 26 & 27 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo & Legazpi.

Richard Baguio Saavedra of Ateneo de Davao University is top 1 with 96%; Tom Braian Aguilar of the University of Bagiuo came third (94.00%); Jaymar Pelin Dumagsa of Western Leyte College-Ormoc is fifth (93.57%); Russel Aaron Nachor Ailes of Ateneo de Naga University and Hazel Valerie Ngo Sy (De La Salle University-Manila) share the top six spot with their 93.29%. Jon Vincent Ngo Ong (DLSU-Manila) is top seven (93.14%); while Glen Dareen Astillero Santos (Xavier University) with his (92.71%), DLSU-Manila’s Kathleen Rivera Samonte (92.43%) and Jay Ronald Leopardas Lluvido (92.29%) of Holy Name University are top eight, nine and 10, respectively.
