Three Carolinians Top CPA Examinations
Three Carolinians from the University of San Carlos in Cebu topped the October 2019 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) board exam.
Marlou Borbon Alinsonorin bagged the 2nd spot with an average of 89.67% followed by his schoolmates Kirk Mole Sarimones (4th spot) and Samantha Mae Colon Mendoza (8th spot) who got 89.33% and 87.67% general average respectively.
Meanwhile, Justin Louie Bautista Santiago of the University of Santo Tomas got the top spot with a rating of 90.33%.
Senator Bong Go’s son Christopher Lawrence “Chrence” Go also made it to the number 3 spot with a rating of 89.50%.
However, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) revealed that only 2075 passed the said exam out of 14,492 who took it. (MLC)
