The Advantages of Busyness

Published

on

Even if I am careful to check my motives and plan carefully, my life is still very busy. Is that good or bad?

“Sow your seed in the morning,
    and at evening let your hands not be idle,
for you do not know which will succeed,
    whether this or that,
    or whether both will do equally well.” Ecclesiastes 11:6

“She sets about her work vigorously;
    her arms are strong for her tasks…She watches over the affairs of her household
    and does not eat the bread of idleness.” Proverbs 31: 17, 27

Rich harvests cannot come from lazy fingers. Harvests require work. Hard work. Activities only begin to become dangerous when it replaces real accomplishment or if you are neglecting God or the people in your care. It’s a good thing to be successful, without stepping into compromises. It’s good to achieve it with all honesty, hard work, and good treatment of others. Having good harvests or being successful is useful in supporting other matters that need help like others and the work of God. It will an impact in the society. We should all be busy doing that!
