Target Eludes Arrest, Woman Nabbed With P800K Worth of Drugs

2 were nabbed in a buy-bust operation on a Sunday afternoon in Brgy. San Isidro, Talisay City, Cebu, January 27, 2018.

Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) Police Station 10 made the buy-bust operation in the area and arrested Wilrose Viernes, 35 a resident Isla Berde, San Isidro, Talisay City, Cebu the cohort of the target of the operation Andyros Abella, 37.who also lives in the area.

However, Abella escaped but was arrested later on after a follow-up operation was conducted to net him.

The operatives confiscated packs of suspected shabu with an estimated total weight of 130 grams and having a Dangerous Drugs Board value of P884,000. Police also recovered one 9mm Ingram with two magazines and 9 live ammunations.

Both are now detained and will face charges in violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (ASC)
