Students have said their goodbyes already to another academic year, now the anticipated summer season has arrived. Everyone loves summer as it is the time to travel, visit the beach and relax the mind from school works. However, your 2-month vacation can get boring when you don’t have something to keep you busy.

It is said that summer is the season of workshops. School is out of the picture for the meantime. And so, you can now indulge yourself to classes that could help enhance or discover your hidden talents.

For the art enthusiasts out there, Fine Arts Student Organization (FASO) of the University of the Philippines Cebu will once again conduct Summer Art Workshop starting today April 15, 2013. Courses offered are Art Appreciation, Art and Design, Advanced Drawing and Painting. Classes are categorized according to participant’s ages. There is no age limit and they are accepting participants as young as 4 years old. If you are interested, registration is until April 19, 2013 at P2,000.

The students under the UPC Fine Arts program will be the ones who will teach the participants.

“We want to impart to others the techniques we’ve learned from our professors”, said Emem Seno, a UP student and Supervisor of the Summer Art Workshop.
