Some National Bowling Team Members To Join Sinulog Bowling On Feb. 1 To 7

Some members of the national bowling team will join the 17th Bowling Tenpin Association (BTA) Sinulog National Open Tenpin Tournament on Feb. 1 to 7 at the Gaisano Bowlingplex in Banilad, Cebu City.

BTA president Bel Suelto Jr. said former World Cup qualifier RJ Bautista and Philippine Team players Jeff Carabeo and Jomar Jumapao will be joining the tournament.

The Philippine Bowling Congress (PBC) and National Bowling Tour (NBT)-sanctioned tournament will not only feature the masters category but as well as the doubles, singles, team and all events.

Suelto said several players from Prima Pasta Team will be joining the event.

More than 100 bowlers have so far confirmed their participation, he said.

Huge cash prizes await the winners in this tournament.

The champion in the masters event will receive PHP60,000, while the second placer will get PHP30,000.

The third placer will get PHP15,000, while those who make the top seven will also get cash prizes.

The Top 3 in the doubles, singles, team and all events will each receive medals and cash as well. (PNA) SCS/EB/MP/EDS
