Shabu Wrapped in Condom Nabbed in Buy-Bust Op

An ingenious way to smuggle drugs in the city didn’t help as a 29 year old man is arrested while trying to conceal his crystal meth also known is ‘shabu’.

The suspect Jemmar D. Layaguin, a resident Brgy. Bagacay, Dumaguete City was arrested in a buy-bust operation inside a convenience store in Sambag 1, Cebu City around 10:00 am today, March 15, 2019.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office (PDEA RO) 7 with Fuente Police Station 2, Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) conducted the bust and arrested the suspect after he transacted with the undercover police.

Recovered from Layaguin were 4 packs of suspected shabu wrapped in bay leaf and carbon and placed inside a condom that weighed 500 grams with an estimated value of P3.4 million, a cellular phone and boodle money. (ASC)
