Sea Travel Resumes in CV After Agaton

The suspension of sea travel in Central Visayas has been lifted today, April 13, 2022, days after TD Agaton made its landfall in the region.

The Philippine Coast Guard 7 (PCG 7) announced the lifting of the suspension of sea trips in the region after the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) latest forecast.

According to PAGASA Weather Advisory No.2 issued at 11:00 AM today, Tropical Depression Agaton that has now weakened into a low pressure has now dissipated. “However, scattered rainshowers will prevail over Quezon, Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Visayas.”

The ports in Cebu have now resumed operations as of 6:00 AM today. (ASC)
