Qube Gallery Presents One Man Sio

Qube Gallery is proud to present the abstract works of Professor Sio Montera in an exhibit called ONE MAN SIO : A Premier Collection Series.

Professor Sio Montera is a current associate professor in the Fine Arts Department of the University of the Philippines Cebu. He was hailed as one of the vanguards of abstract expressionism in Philippine Contemporary Art. Sio won numerous awards such as the 2008 University of the Philippines Chancellor’s Award for Most Outstanding Achievement in Creative Work, 2009 Honorable Mention, ECCA-AAP Abstract Art Competition, 2010 First Prize, GSIS Painting Competition, Abstract Painting Category and the 2011 Juror’s Choice, Visayas Art Awards, Philippine Art Awards.

The exhibit has been mounted by A-List Events, Henry Hotel, Pizzeria Michelangelo, DB Wines, Creative Cebu Council Inc., Pusod Inc., St. James and the University of the Philippines Cebu.

One Man Sio is Qube Gallery’s first exhibit of Prof. Sio Montera which will run for a month starting Wednesday June 18 until July 16, 2014.

Qube Gallery is located at G/F Henry Hotel, One Paseo, Maria Luisa Road, Banilad Cebu City.
