Pres. Benigno Aquino III will be in Cebu on Friday for the Labor Day

President Benigno Aquino III is expected in Cebu City this Friday to deliver a message at the JobStart’s Employers Forum at JCentre Mall in Mandaue City at 9 a.m., labor officials said.

However, Luchel Taniza, information officer of the Department of Labor and Employment-7, said that the said schedule is not final, yet. “As of now, that’s the advisory we received but nothing is final yet,” she said.

Philippine Information Agency (PIA-7), said they are still waiting for the official advisory from Malacañang.

This year’s Labor Day celebration has a theme: “Disenteng Trabaho at Kabuhayan, Alay Natin sa Bayan.”

DOLE-7 officer-in-charge Exequiel Sarcauga said the Labor Day celebration is for the workers and all activities prepared by the agency are dedicated to them.
