Possible Boston Bombing Suspect Spotted on Video

Investigators taking on the Boston Marathon bombings are now pointing to a man seen on a video footage as a possible suspect in the attack, official sources said Wednesday.

The Boston Marathon attack killed 3 people and injured at least 180, both athletes and spectators alike.

Sources indicate a man wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt and a black jacket. Sources also say the man had a white baseball cap worn backwards.

The footage was taken from a video surveillance of a nearby department store.

According to a law enforcement officer, the video also showed several others that the authorities want to question, either because of what they were doing prior to the explosion or their proximity to the area.

Contrary to spreading news of an arrest, two government officials confirm the man in the video has not been identified by name. Authorities consider appealing to the public to relay useful information.

Media men and office workers gathered around the federal courthouse anticipating news of an arrest but they were made to evacuate the courthouse due to a bomb scare.

At Copley Square where the bombings happened, the area was barricaded as investigators search the buildings for pieces of evidence that might help crack the case.
