PLDT Home Opens its First “Concept Store” in SM Seaside City

PLDT Home on December 8 opened its first-ever concept store in the country in SM Seaside City.

Dubbed as “Smart Home”, this new store houses what Renren Reyes, head of PLDT Home, described as the “future” in terms of digital services of PLDT Home.

“It looks fantastic and I’m very, very proud,” said Reyes during the ceremonial ribbon-cutting of the store.

He explained that they chose the word “concept store” for this PLDT Home as they want to please their customers.

“Why this concept? Because at the end of the day, we go back to the driver of this business and it’s our customers. When they come to our door we want to let them experience the PLDT service and we want to go beyond that experience,” he said.

He said the new customer care PLDT Home has is its way of thanking their loyal customers for their continued support to their services.

“The innovation, we’ve already done that. We now want to focus to customer service for their continued loyalty and love for PLDT it’s all about customer experience: making sure that when our customers come to this store, they feel as much pleasure as possible,” he added.

The new store features the latest in communication and technology which applies the pillars under the company’s concept: entertainment, security, connectivity and convergence.

Among the high-end technologies that can be seen and used inside the store are the broadband visualize, the easy-to-use tool that stimulates broadband and date usage, and the augmented reality.

There is also a video chat for customers who have queries but cannot physically go to the store, experiential booths for visitors who want to experience PLDT Home Fibr, DSW and Ultera services and interactive screens or giant simulations tablets where they can watch videos, check their Facebook accounts, play games and others.
