PHL Consulate General in Milan Launches iREHISTRO for Overseas Voting

Published

on

The Philippine Consulate General in Milan launched the Commission on Elections’ (COMELEC) iREHISTRO Project on May 26. The iREHISTRO Project is an internet-based system which gives qualified Filipinos the opportunity to fill out the registrations form online, and select the date and time of appointment for biometrics capturing.

To accomplish the registration using the iREHISTRO, applicants are advised to visit www.philcongenmilan.net or www.comelec.gov.ph and click on the iREHISTRO link and fill-in the required data. After accomplishing the form, the applicant needs to personally bring a photocopy of his/her passport for biometrics capturing. By using this facility, they need not wait a long time to complete the registration process and therefore will encourage more registrants for overseas voting.

The newly launched iREHISTRO registration for the May 2016 elections will last until October 31. The Consulate General continues to encourage the Filipino community to register before the set deadline.
