Philpost Launches Valentines Express

The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHILPOST) on Monday asked the public to support their Valentine project known as Valentines Express.

In a special Association of Government Information Officers (AGIO) forum held at the Philpost regional office in Mandaue City, Philpost Regional Director Raul Q, Buensalida shares that Valentine Express is a nationwide project aimed at helping everybody to attain their individual commitment to their love ones on Valentine’s Day.

Buensalida also assured that all gifts are delivered directly to the door steps of the addressee starting at early in the morning of Saturday until its midnight.

“We will see to it that we will do our all means just to catch up even to the last minute of February 14, all our deliveries,” Buensalida said.

Buensalida explained that the main attraction of this project is the fast delivery of a package made or a bundle of flowers.

He identified these packages with their individual prices as Holland rose bouquet with plastic or sinamay wrap at P160 if single; P360 for 3 pieces; P660 for a half dozen; and P1,280 for a dozen.

Assorted flowers on basket at P410 for mini; and P560 for medium assorted flowers in a basket; with additional P50 for a additional 3 medium size balloons.

Buensalida also said there is an additional P40 charge for deliveries within Cebu City areas such as Busay, Tisa south hills, Buhisan, Bulacao including New Town Estate.

Alta Vista, Monterazzas, and Sapangdaku, and in Vista Grande, Pacific Heights and Seaview Heights in Talisay City.

Buensalida said that the Valentines Express is only limited to the cities in Cebu province such as Talisay, Mandaue, Lapulapu and Cebu City proper and also in Tagbilaran City, in Bohol province.

“So starting this morning until Saturday in the earlier hours of the afternoon, everybody can apply for the Valentine Express”, Buensalida said.

This means that the earlier registration is the better for Philpost to smoothly prepare the gift items, and to make sure too that this will be delivered early in the morning on Saturday, the much awaited day for all lovers, Buensalida said.

According to the Philpost highest officer in the Visayas that Valentine Express is usually launch every February, the so called love and heart month of the year.

This is to support the dire needs of the public who trusted the good service and leadership of the state’s postal office, Buensalida said.
