PB Allows Citom to Use Banilad Property

The Cebu Provincial Board has allowed the Cebu City Traffic Operations Management (Citom) to use temporarily the province-owned Banilad lot.

The authority came after the PB approved a resolution authored by 3rd district Board Member Grecilda P. Sanchez during its recent regular session.

Under the resolution, the Citom, after the memorandum of understanding (MOU) is signed by Gov. Hilario Davide III with Citom representatives, can use the 351-square-meter lot in Gov. Cuenco Avenue, Banilad as loading and unloading bay for PUJs.

The Citom will, however, be responsible for the property’s upkeep, as stipulated in the MOA. Once the province will use the said property, Citom will remove all its signage and other structures.
