Patient Shoots Doctor, Kills Self After
A male patient shot dead his attending physician in a clinic inside Sacred Heart Hospital on Urgello, Cebu City, Thursday morning. The patient then shot himself after the incident.
Patient Wilfred Sabonsolin shoots orthopedic doctor Cris Cecil Abbu around 9 o’ çlock in the morning today. Sabonsolin then shot himself.
Dr. Abbu was declared dead at around 10:00 am.
Police found Sabonsolin, a former seaman, sitting in a wheelchair inside the clinic of the doctor. Authorities also found a .38 calibre pistol and two empty slugs inside the said clinic.
As of press time, police has yet to determine the cause behind the incident.
Abbu is Sabonsolin’s attending physician for some time.
