PAGASA: ‘Habagat’ to Bring Rains in Luzon, Visayas on Tuesday

Southwest monsoon (habagat) will bring rains over Luzon and Visayas on Tuesday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

It its advisory, PAGASA said cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and isolated thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila, Ilocos region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Calabarzon, and the provinces of Zambales, Bataan and Mindoro.

Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms, meanwhile, will be experienced over Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula and the rest of Luzon.

The state weather bureau added that the rest of Mindanao may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds will blow from southwest throughout the entire archipelago.
